The challenge
Field & Fern had a devoted Instagram audience but no online store. They needed to launch in eight weeks to ship in time for the holiday season — without compromising the feel of their brand.
What we did
- Designed a distinctive PDP that leaned into their editorial photography.
- Built product storytelling pages in Astro, connected to Shopify via Storefront API.
- Implemented a custom bundle builder for gift sets using islands.
- Set up a lightweight email pop-up that doesn’t interrupt first-time browsers.
Outcome
Launch week beat every internal projection. The site now runs with a two-person team and handles 15× the traffic of their previous pre-order form without a sweat.
